JoLena Mikels

Southern Oregon has been my home for over 11 years. I grew up in Kelso, Washington and decided to move to Eugene after high school to attend College while pursuing Pole Vaulting at Lane Community College. There, I met my husband Tyler in a “Birds of Oregon” Biology class. After receiving our transfer degree in business we moved to Southern Oregon to continue my pole vaulting on a scholarship and to work towards a business degree at Southern Oregon University. I loved the area immediately and we chose to make it our home.

After college I became an assistant manager at my husband’s marketing company. There I gained a lot of experience working with clients and managing/consulting sales representatives. I was able to bring my organizational and communication skills to help the company reach many goals.

In 2012, I took a break from the business world to start a family. I now have two wonderful children Hailey(6) and Hudson(3).

When the time came for me to get back into my career. I wanted to be able to do something I could be passionate about. My desire to work closely with people and help them achieve their goals made Real Estate a great fit. My husband and I both work as a Team here in Grants Pass for Ford Real Estate.
