Fireworks around Southern Oregon 2024

Independence Day fireworks, parades, and local events are everywhere in Southern Oregon! Central Point is the definitive close-by choice, with the Run4Freedom & Kids Fun Run in the morning and the Boomfest firework show at night. Grants Pass also hosts an exciting fair featuring food trucks, live music, pickleball, axe-throwing, and a stunning fireworks display. 

The coast has always been my favorite way to see fireworks on the 4th! Crescent City and Gold Beach are hosting festivals in the morning with firework shows to follow. Whether you plan to stay local, take a day trip, or enjoy a vacation, we want to share all the amazing places to celebrate Independence Day!

Central Point

Central Point is celebrating with a morning Run4Freedom & Kids Fun Run followed by Boomfest, a large firework display at dusk!

Eagle Point

Eagle Point is hosting the 2024 Fun Run starting at 8:30 AM on July 4th! At night, their fireworks display will be hosted at Eagle Point High School.

Ashland’s 4th of July Celebration will focus on celebrating the community’s youth with a “Go 4th For Kids!” theme and a parade starting at 10 AM!

Grants Pass

Grants Pass is throwing an all-day party with food trucks, live music, fireworks, pickleball, and axe-throwing!

Lake of the Woods

With a BBQ from 4-8 pm, Lake of the Woods has The Roadsters (Country & Classic Rock) performing and fireworks at dusk!

The Klamath Falls Downtown Association’s 4th of July Parade features vibrant floats, community groups, and a flyover from Kingsley Field!

Montague, CA

The fireworks display starts at 9:45 PM over Lake Siskiyou! Note: Mt. Shasta will not be open for viewing the fireworks.

Crescent City, CA

With the theme of “Stars, Stripes and the Spirit of ’64”, Crescent City’s all-day parade kicks off at 10 AM. Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park is hosting a nature sensory hike starting at 11 AM.

Brooking’s exciting “Sky High 4th of July” show starts at 10 PM at Sporthaven Beach (parking available at Port)!

Gold Beach Port

Gold Beach’s annual family fun event offers live music, vendors, activities, and a dazzling fireworks display over the Rogue River, courtesy of the Gold Beach Volunteer Fire Department.

Bandon’s 4th of July starts with a parade through Old Town, followed by a spectacular fireworks display over the Coquille River. Don’t miss the additional fun of the Cardboard Boat Regatta, Bandon Crab Derby, and the Port of Bandon Boardwalk Art Show!

Newport’s New Lincoln County Fair (July 4-6) will have live music and events happening all weekend! “Flipflops, Fireworks and Freedom.” The fair has free admission with the option to buy tickets to specific events, like the Lincoln County Pro Rodeo.

Rockaway Beach

Celebrate Independence Day in Rockaway Beach with a parade, dachshund races, food vendors, a flyover by the National Guard, and a stunning fireworks display over the ocean. Enjoy the festive atmosphere, explore local shops, or take a scenic train ride before the grand finale!

    I appreciate your list, but what happened to Gardiner or Winchester Bay? As long as I have lived on the coast, we have always had a show at both Gardiner and Winchester Bay.
